i love a bit of greenery inside and these days there seems to be more and more to choose from. I am wanting to put a bit of green in a light well and look at some of the ideas that I have found. So good!

Princess and the Pea

It is increasingly becoming our thing to be asked to do nursery's. I am loving that people are becoming adventurous in what they want and that we are moving beyond a frills and a bit of gingham (gingham I will always have a special place for, frills perhaps less so!)

A theme that I am particularly keen on at the moment is the princess and the pea look! This works particularly well in a girls room and is so simple to do.... just a few layers of quilts or blankets get the look going.

i have always been a fan of the bolster - in the bedroom, on the sofa, softening up a bench seat. So easy and just a little bit less expected than a simple scatter cushion

Engine-Inspired V12 Espresso Machine by Espresso Veloce

Everyone around me knows that I am nearly just as happy trawling through car magazines as I am Interiors ones, so imagine my delight when Design Milk Daily Digest bought this bit of Vrroom to my attention!

Johannesburg-based company, Espresso Veloce arguably crafts some of the world’s most beautiful espresso machines. Taking inspiration from complex Formula One engines, their pieces have become an expressive—and functional—piece of automotive art

V12 is the Espresso Veloce’s newest machine. It’s handcrafted from magnesium, titanium, and aluminum pieces that come together to form a top-notch beauty. From it’s modern aesthetic to its intricate inner workings, the V12 embodies the power and design of a 12-cylinder engine.

So now you want some espresso? To start the machine press one of the two buttons (for a single or double shot). A high-pressure pump moves water through an in-line heat exchange and then into the group head capsule. The high-pressurized water passes through the group head, which then dispenses out of one of the 12 titanium exhaust pipes.

Need your caffeine fast? From start to finish, the V12 makes your espresso in 16 seconds flat! But be speedy only 500 have been made!

Ikea is no longer the daggy wobbly furniture supplier we remember it too be. It reminds us of our student days - a poster in the sitting room and a cannister to hold our dish-washing brush if we felt like pushing the boat out!
